The Inn

The Inn

The birth of the ancient post, a place of rest and refreshment for travelers and those first daredevil tourists who ventured to discover the Dolomites, now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dates back to the mid-1800s. A long history of men and women who crossed Europe from north to south to reach Italy to discover the beauties of our country.

The large rooms have been conceived and designed to give guests an experience as authentic as possible, without neglecting any comfort. Everything was created in respect of our beloved mountains, the furnishings, all made to measure, were recovered with timber from the beams and planks of the original building.

The rooms have been characterized by furnishing elements of the old post office, the floors, strictly in wooden parquet (with underfloor heating), recall the original warping with a perimeter frame in larch wood and a central carpet in fir wood, expertly restored original objects of the “house” such as: trunks, wardrobes, chest of drawers and ancient majolica stube, make guests experience emotions of that romantic past and of the famous guests that the Locanda has hosted in its glorious past.
